Get Connected
If you need help getting your son or daughter connected to our ministry...PLEASE allow us to help. I
want to promise you that we will try and do these four things:
1) We'll have one of our leaders call and/or write your student to personally invite him/her to one of
our events if you give us their information.
2) We'll have one of our student leaders do the same as #1.
3) We'll share whatever information we can that might help you help your student get involved. For
example; you son might say, "I don't know anyone who goes there." That's a fair concern, but
chances are high that from the 75+ students who are involved in our youth ministry, they will know
someone from school. We will also give you information about our activities so you can get your teen
involved in our ministry.
4) We can have a F.O.C.U.S. meeting about your son or daughter. FOCUS stands for Focusing on
your Child's Understanding and Spiritual Growth. It is like a parent/teacher conference at your child's
school except we will talk about the spiritual and emotional concerns of you or your child. We will
also let you know about the positive things we see your son or daughter doing in youth group. We
may approach you regarding one of these meetings, not, because your son or daughter is in trouble
but perhaps just to reaffirm that you are doing all the right things and we want to pray and continue to
support you.
